"LA PARISIENNE" was launched in 1964 in a cooperation with the French magazine "ELLE", in order to increase the sales of the R4 among feminine drivers. In the beginning only black cars were available, with imitation canework or Scottish plates on doors, rearwings and boot.
This IKA RENAULT 4 "PARISIENNE" (R1123) from 1968 is still completely original. I imported it from Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2005. To find out more about the local production of the R4 by IKA in Argentina I recommend to visit this site. Besides this canework version I own a French 1967 specimen with the Scottish plates print.
